EMMA – A1046246

***GONE 08/07/15***TERRIFIC TRIO OF DELICIOUS CREAMSICLES NEED YOU! Sad sigh! Just a few short days ago, Tiger, Cleo and Emma’s precious lives became endangered and the only world that they knew changed forever. On August 1, this delicious middle aged trio of gingerbread kitties (Tiger is a three year old boy along with rare ginger gals, Cleo, 8, and Emma 6) were sadly surrendered by their former owner (along with a few other furry friends) due to the BS “moving” excuse. None of these sweet but sad angels were fixed and they were all betrayed after being faithful feline friends to their purrson. They are all calm, gentle, used to being housepets and are all purrfectly healthy—not even a sniffle. Yet their precious lives are in peril tonight due to their irresponsible former owner (who claimed that they were all socialized and playful) along with a broken shelter system that finds their lives expendable. Does this enrage you? Are you ready to be THE SOMEBODY in “somebody do something?” If so, please reserve one, two or all of these delicious creamsicles tonight. They are a little shy and may do best in a quiet home but will surely reward their new purrson (or purrsons) with a lifetime of love and affection. We can’t let this fab family become three more sad ACC stats. Let’s help write a happy ending to this terrific creamsicle trio’s nightmare. Make the call for Tiger, Cleo and Emma & be the change that you want to see in the world!

08/06/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Emma was calm and relaxed upon approach. She looks at the assessor and blinks when softly spoken to. Reaction to cage door opening: Emma remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Emma was hesitant of touch, but allows petting on her head and back. She twitches when touched on her body and breathes rapidly. Although she warms up a little to the assessor, she still seems cautious of the assessor’s hand and of the environment. As per previous owner, Emma was found as a stray outside and they gradually socialized her in an attempt to make her an indoor cat. She is litter box trained and gets along with the other cats she lived with. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Emma tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
