08/01/15 19:03 Litter Mates : Tabby : A1046295 Roxy : A1046297 Lila : A1046298 Tabby is a 3 yrs, old cat who was surrendered at ACC today along with her litter mates. Tabby is reported to have a nervous and skittish disposition but is otherwise healthy. Tabby is desribed as independent and assertive. Tabby has been socialized with other cats and is described as being respectful tolerant and relaxed. Tabby plays with other cats in a gentle manner as well. Tabby has nt been socialized with children or dogs at all. Tabby is an indoor cat who is litter trained. Tabby is described as being a low level activity cat who is also assertive fearful aloof quiet and independent. Lila has never been bathed had her fur brushed or nails trimmed. Tabby will swat hiss growl and bite if she is picked up or placed in a carrier. Tabby is not disturbed when she is bothered from her sleep. Tabby is a cat who uses clumping litter in an open litter box. Tabby does not like to play with toys but will use a vertical smooth wood scratching post. Tabby will stay in her favorite spot under the bed and will also sleep on the bed. Tabby eats dry food twice a day. Tabby is not bothered when she is being driven in a car. Tabby was nervous mewoing hissing and growling throughout the Intake process. Tabby was difficult to transfer into a new carrier and did not allow herself to be collared or photographed. Tabby did not wish to be handledand nt attempt was made to handle Tabby. Tabby was nervous due to her new surroundings and circumstances.

Owner Profile: Tabby has been socialized with other cats and is described as being respectful, tolerant and relaxed. Tabby plays with other cats in a gentle manner as well. Tabby has not been socialized with children or dogs at all. Tabby is an indoor cat who is litter trained. Tabby is described as being a low level activity cat who is also assertive, fearful, aloof quiet and independent. Notes: Tabby seems to not be thriving in this environment and at the time of the assessment. She was displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and may require further investigation before placement in a home. She is extremely fearful and currently tolerates very limited petting and handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
