Handsome 14-year-old gray tabby and white gentleman JJ finds himself stuffed into the kill-happy ACC due to PERSONAL PROBLEMS. This darling older boy HEADBUTTED and PURRED his way to a rare-but-coveted BEGINNER behavior rating. And did I mention that JJ is ALREADY NEUTERED? Sadly, this precious elder-cat will DIE at noon tomorrow, an INNOCENT VICTIM of the notorious ACC kitty cold and a badly broken shelter system. Please don’t let them silence his purrs forever! Reaction to assessor: JJ was calm, relaxed, and friendly upon approach. When softly spoken to, he head-butts the cage front. Reaction to cage door opening: JJ remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: JJ head-butts the assessor’s hand, leans in when pet on his cheeks, and begins to purr. Reaction to being picked up: JJ remains soft and allows handling. Behavior Determination: Beginner JJ interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
