09/16/15 18:30 1 year old gray and white tabby cat Greyson came in today as stray with a litter mate. It was found abounded in an apartment after the owner moved out. Upon intake, Grey Sky was vocal. Upon intake, Grey Sky was vocal. It allowed itself to be handled and collard. However when let go, it retrieved back into the carrier not allowing itself to be photographed outside of the carrier. It showed no signs of behavior issues and allowed all handling. Its sex is not yet determined.

Notes: Grey Sky was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying good behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Grey Sky is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but looks at you, calm, relaxed When spoken quietly: does not come to front but looks at you, calm, relaxed Reaction to door cage opening: remains soft and relaxed Reaction to touch: allows petting and attention Try picking cat up: Grey Sky is tolerant of this type of handling.
