I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 09/21/2015 from NY 11208, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

09/21/15 16:34 Rocky Blaze is a black and brown male tabby cat that came in today as a stray. Owner stated that she found him on the street and decided to bring him in. No further information was given. Upon intake, Rocky Blaze attempted to flee from the carrier however he didn’t display any behavior issue. He allowed himself to be collard but had to be photographed inside the den. He will undergo a full medical examination.

A volunteer writes: Rocky Blaze is the name of a California wild fire. But this youngster is far from wild. He is a friendly, adorable male cat from Brooklyn. He has a slim build and an outgoing attitude. Rocky Blaze reached out to me and I was happy to make his acquaintance. He has a cute, pink nose which makes his face so appealing. Why not come in and see him for yourself? Another volunteer writes: Hey Bro, I’m Rocky Blaze, I want to be your Bro. Can I crash at your pad, all I need is a place to rest my bones, some eats and a place to do my business. I’m no trouble, you won’t know I’m there, but I would really love some attention, but don’t forget the head rubs and lots of petting. I can just rest next to you, we can chill for awhile for I love your company.

At the time of the assessment Rocky Blaze was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Rocky Blaze is displaying behavior appropriate for a beginner cat owner.
