***SAFE 10/04/15*** ROLO has a striking face! Look at the sweet nose on this guy! How did he end up at the ACC? The 4 year old, along with multiple litter mates, were brought in as STRAYS. So right from the start it made ROLO feel nervous and tense! He tolerated petting and attention from the assessor, but they feel he will be stressed in the shelter so he’s rated EXPERIENCE! Once used to NEW surroundings he should be just fine. After all,his whole world has fallen apart…. He’s away from his litter mates. He needs as compassionate soul to FOSTER or ADOPT him! He’s worth it! Let him know by giving him a piece of your heart and HOME!

09/21/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Rolo was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. He was brought in with numerous other cats and was nervous upon intake. Despite being nervous, he allowed all handling during his initial medical exam. Reaction to Assessor: Rolo was calm and relaxed upon intake. Reaction when softly spoken to: Rolo looks at the assessor with relaxed eyes and then looks around the room. Reaction to cage door opening: Rolo remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Rolo was hesitant with touch, but remains in place and allows all petting. He begins to warm up a little and leans lightly on the assessor’s hand, but his ears tilt sideways and he still shifts away at times. Placement Determination: Experience Rolo tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
