7-26-2015 Manhattan
***GONE 07/26/15*** “FRIENDLY, AFFECTIONATE” YOUNG TUXIE GIRL, DUMPED FOR PERSONAL PROBLEMS, IS PERFECT HEALTHY, BUT WILL NOW DIE DUE TO HER FEAR – PLEASE GRANT CLOVER A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! Gorgeous three-year-old tuxie girl CLOVER was dumped into the kill-happy ACC due to her old owner’s PERSONAL PROBLEMS. At home, Clover was PURRfect: “The two things her owner liked most about her were that she is kind and laid back. Clover is respectful around children, but she does not play. She has been around 8 year olds and 15 year olds. She was kept indoors only. She has a low activity level and was described as confident, mellow, friendly, affectionate, quiet, and independent. She likes to play with wand toys and plastic wrappers. her previous owner was home Clover liked to stay in her favorite spot. When she played with her owner she was gentle.” But poor Clover is TRAUMATIZED at the scary shelter, so she acted DEFENSIVELY when she was poked and prodded with the scary fake hand used for ACC cat behavior tests. The ACC PUNISHED her with New Hope Only and fast-tracked this dear girl to the noon kill list for tomorrow, despite the fact that Clover is PERFECTLY HEALTHY! Please don’t let them murder her. Start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt betrayed sweetheart CLOVER from the approved New Hope rescue groups! If you can’t save CLOVER yourself, please SHARE her sad story and PLEDGE for her rescue!

Behavior Determination: New Hope Only Clover is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and/or may require further investigation before placement in a home. She has tried to swat, is uncomfortable in the shelter environment, and does not currently tolerate petting or handling.
