07/27/15 12:09 Intake Behavior: Carini sat in the carrier she was brought with a soft body. When the carrier was opened, she popped her head out. She allowed picking up and placing on the counter for photos. She held still on the counter and allowed to be scanned and collared. She was easily placed in a new carrier. She did not show any aggressive behaviors.

Notes: Carini was bought into was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying calm behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Carini is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but looks at you, calm, relaxed When spoken quietly: does not come to front but looks at you, calm, relaxed Reaction to door cage opening: remains soft and relaxed Reaction to touch: allows petting and attention Try picking cat up: Carini allows handling for a limited time Placement Determination: Average
