Brooklyn Center

Cameron A1040973 – 6 month male black/white kitten, stray:

SNEEZING WITH NASAL DISCHARGE AND SNEEZE MARKS IN CAGE.

TREATING FOR URI.  0.5ML DOXY PO Q24 FOR 10 DAYS.

PROGNOSIS IS GOOD WITH CONTINUED MEDICAL ATTENTION.

WAIVED FROM NEUTER SURGERY FOR 7/3/15

Notes: Camerson was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Camerson is displaying behavior appropriate for a beginner cat owner.

Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but looks at you, is calm, relaxed and friendly

When spoken quietly: comes to the front of cage, soliciting, rubbing against front

Reaction to door cage opening: remains soft and relaxed

Reaction to touch: solicits petting and attention

Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling

Placement Determination: Beginner
