I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 06/25/2015 from NY 11210, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY. I came in with Group/Litter #K15-020000.

Notes: Chips was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying shy behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Chips is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but looks at you, calm, relaxed When spoken quietly: does not come to front but looks at you, calm, relaxed Reaction to door cage opening: remains soft and relaxed Reaction to touch: becomes nervous but warms up and appreciates attention Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling Placement Determination: Average
