07/06/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to Assessor: Neon does not come to the front, but remains neutral in his cage. When softly spoken to, he looks away from the assessor. Reaction to cage door opening: Neon becomes stiff and alert. Reaction to touch: Neon lowers head, allows stroke on his head and back, but remains immobile and his ears bend sideways. Reaction to being picked up: Neon becomes tense, but allows handling. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Neon tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
