Animal’s demeanor with you – cat allowed all handling. did not solicit attention but was not nervous or timid. cat was calm and relaxed in carrier. Finder stated that people always seem to drop cats off at his door step because they know he loves animals and that he will do right by the animal.

Aurra came into the care center as a friendly stray. We cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home, but she has been social and easy to handle since arrival. Reaction to assessor: Aurra is resting in her cage, body soft and relaxed. Reaction to cage door opening: Remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Aurra does not approach but allows petting and solicits attention by leaning into the assessor’s hand. She allows a gentle pick up in the cage. Placement determination: Beginner Aurra interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
