***SAFE 07/24/15*** ‘COMES TO FRONT OF CAGE FOR ATTENTION, VERY VOCAL’ says the ACC of little black and white CANADA. CANADA came in as a ‘stray’ along with two friends, and the person bringing her in knew nothing about her-but obviously this cat and her friends-who are not mentioned-may have been abandoned. CANADA is very friendly and is frightened and from ASTORIA Queens. Who is CANADA and why would someone bring her in here? However she came to be here, tonight her life was in danger-please save CANADA tonight!!!!!

07/15/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Canada was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Canada is displaying behavior appropriate for a new cat owner. Reaction to assessor: comes to the front of the cage, soliciting, rubbing against the cage front , very vocal When spoken quietly: stays at front, continues soliciting attention, chirps Reaction to door cage opening: tries to come out of cage curious about surroundings Reaction to touch: allows petting but is more focused on her surroundings Try picking cat up: Body soft and relaxed while being handled Placement Determination: Average
