***SAFE 12/22/15*** OUTSTANDING FOURTH CHANCE!! MAKE IT A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE FOR AIR!! A FRIGHTENED BUT HEALTHY HOUSE PANTHER NAMED AIR FOUND HIS WAY INTO THE SHELTER AS A STRAY AND NEEDS YOU TO HELP HIM FIND HIS WAY OUT!! A volunteer writes: You could accuse Air of putting on airs, but if you did, you’d be wrong. He seems to be a bit stand-offish, like someone who is a bit full of himself. But no, Air is just covering up for his shyness. He isn’t sure who he can trust to pet him and mean it, so you have to take it slow with him. Go ahead, put out your hand, let him sniff it, and then, slowly but surely, start to stroke his neck. You’ll see, he will sigh with relief and then nod in approval. Yes, that’s it, you can caress this lovely boy. Little by little, you can win his heart, and if he does decide to purr for you, it’s you who will be walking on air! APPLY TO FOSTER OR ADOPT AIR NOW!!
