***SAFE 04/28/15*** WONDERFUL WOODY WOULD LOVE A NICE LOVING HOME BUT THE ACC IS GOING TO END HIS CHANCES AT NOON TUESDAY! Woody came into the shelter as a stray, all wet and dirty from the bad weather outdoors. The ACC has in the notes that they did bathe him but sadly they have not had the time to take a new photo of this cute orange boy so people can see how handsome he really is. Woody was nervous and tense but showed no signs of aggression. This 2 year old boy wants a home where he is a furever kitty. He probably should see a vet to make sure he is all right but first we need to get him off death row and into a safe place. IF YOU CAN HELP WOODY TONIGHT – CONTACT A RESCUE TO PULL HIM TO SAFETY NOW!!

04/24/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Woody looks tense in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Woody remains crouched down a the back, turned sideways, alert with dilated pupils. Reaction to touch: Woody accepts the stroke, but curls up in place even tighter and shows no interest with the touch. Placement determination: Experience / no child Woody tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
