***SAFE 06/10/15 *** ANOTHER FABULOUS OWNER WHO DOESN’T SPAY THEIR PETS AND DOESN’T TAKE THEM TO THE VET….Poor SPUNKY and friends SQUEEKIE and DORA were all dumped at the ACC when the same fabulous owner decided they had PERSONAL PROBLEMS…..SPUNKY is a mellow, friendly lady of 4 years who gets along with adults and children and likes to watch “Finding Nemo”!! IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO WATCH MOVIES WITH, CONSIDER SPUNKY!! She is a loving cat that deserves a nice life!! PLEASE OFFER TO FOSTER OR ADOPT!!

06/02/15 20:03 Basic Information: Spunky is a 4 year old female tabby. Owner sated Spunky was bred at home. Spunky isn’t declawed and has never been to the vet. Owner stated Spunky is healthy and has no health issues. Owner came to surrender Spunky because of personal Problems. Social Life and Personality: Spunky lived with 4 adults and has been around children. Owner stated Spunky is relaxed, affectionate and respectful towards everyone in the household. Spunky lived with 2 other cats name Squeekie A1038536 and Dora A1035835. Spunky gets along with the two cats but doesn’t appear to be bonded owner stated. Owner stated Spunky been around a dog she became curious but never interacted with one. Spunky is an indoor cat and activity level is to a medium. Owner stated Spunky is playful, confident, mellow, friendly, quiet and independent. Behavior Issues: Owner stated Spunky bitten or scratched anyone. Spunky hides in fear when visitors she unaware of. Owner stated Spunky is tolerant of taking a bath but mostly cleans herself. Spunky likes to be brushed but she will let owner know when she wants to be picked up and held by come by owner and laying down. For a New Family to Know: Spunky is litter box trained and shares a hooded litter box with two other cats. Spunky likes to play with balls, shoe string, run away and rugs. Spunky likes sleep and watching her favorite movie called Finding Nemo. She likes to be scratched on her chin and back. Spunky likes to lay by window sill and catch a breeze owner stated. Spunky eats wet and dry food but prefers dry food called Purina twice a day. Spunky likes to eat Temptation and sleep on her pet bed. Intake Behavior: Upon intake Spunky was calm and relaxed. She scanned negative for a microchip and allowed all handling.

Owner Profile: Spunky was bought into the care center with by her previous owner due to being evited. Spunky lived with four adults and has been around children. The previous owner stated she is relaxed, affectionate and respectful towards everyone in the household. Spunky is said to be shy so when visitors comes around she takes long to get use to them. Spunky lived with two other cats ( Squeekie A1038536 and Dora A1035835). Spunky got along with the two cats. Owner state she has been around a dog and she became curious but never interacted with him. Spunky is litter box trained. Notes: Spunky at the time of the assessment was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer but after a steady slow approach using soft voices she relaxed a little and I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way. I was also able to pick her up and although she was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: remains motionless Reaction to touch: seems indifferent to my presence and touch Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling but tense.
