PRINCESS – A1037863
6-9-2015 Brooklyn
***GONE 06/09/15*** SWEET “ATTENTION SEEKING” GIRL, DUMPED FOR “PERSONAL PROBLEMS”, IS PERFECTLY HEALTHY WITH A GREAT BEHAVIOR RATING, BUT THE ACC WILL KILL HER ANYWAY – PLEASE GRANT PRINCESS A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! Pretty two-year-old PRINCESS, a black and white beauty, was dumped into the ACC’s Death Camp for Kitties due to her old owner’s PERSONAL PROBLEMS. That old owner cared so little for this poor girl, no information was given that could help Princess get adopted. She had one episode of vomiting shortly after intake, but that’s been resolved. Princess earned a very good EXPNOCHILD behavior rating for the endearing way in which she begged for petting. But this EXCELLENT young girl will DIE AT NOON TOMORROW, despite the fact that Princess is PERFECTLY HEALTHY and has a nice behavior rating! Please don’t let them murder this lovely young cat. Start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt pretty PRINCESS! If you can’t save PRINCESS yourself, please SHARE her sad story and PLEDGE for her rescue!

06/02/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Initially Princess solicits petting and attention, but after a few soft passes over the body she begins to hiss and growl at the assessor. This may be a sign of petting-induced aggression, where repeated physical contact results in discomfort for the cat, or it may be a sign of overstimulation. As a result of this observed behavior we recommend adopters who are familiar with signs of behavioral arousal and agitation in cats, so that interactions can be ended before Princess becomes reactive. Treats should be used to reward appropriate responses to physical attention. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but looks at you, is calm, relaxed and friendly (1) When spoken quietly: comes to the front of cage, soliciting, rubbing against front (1) Reaction to door cage opening: remains soft and relaxed Reaction to touch soft and relaxed before becoming overstimulated Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling Placement Determination: Experience no child
