***SAFE 09/14/15*** “VERY SWEET” PURRING, HEADBUTTING WHITE BEAUTY, FOUND BEING TORTURED BY KIDS, THEN DUMPED AS A STRAY, WILL NOW DIE BECAUSE SHE SNEEZED – PLEASE GRANT OLIVIA A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! “VERY SWEET” four-year-old snow-white beauty OLIVIA was found on the streets, being TORMENTED by kids, who had thrown ketchup and mustard all over her pretty white coat. Her rescuer took her home, cleaned her up and fed her, but then took poor Olivia to the kill-happy ACC. Sweet Olivia HEADBUTTED and PURRED her way to a near-perfect AVERAGE behavior rating, but she will DIE at noon tomorrow, an INNOCENT VICTIM of the notorious ACC kitty cold and a badly broken shelter system. Finder confronted the kids, and took Olivia into the home to wash her up and feed her. BEHAVIOR DURING INTAKE Olivia was very sweet during intake process.

Note: Olivia was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. She was found outside and was taunted by some children. The finder removed her from the situation and was able to bring her into the care center with no issues. She was sweet and allowed all handling upon intake and during her initial medical exam. Please note that Olivia is being treated for an upper respiratory infection at the time of the behavior assessment. This condition may affect some of the behaviors shown during evaluation. Reaction to assessor: Olivia was calm and relaxed upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Olivia closes her eyes to rest. Reaction to cage door opening: Olivia remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Olivia meows and chirps once pet. She gets up, head-butts lightly, and begins to purr. Reaction to being picked up: Olivia remains calm and allows handling. Behavior Determination: Average Olivia interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
