Mckayla is 6 yrs. old spayed and in good overall health Mckayla is described as affectionate and friendly. Mckayla is well socialized with children cats and dogs interacting with them in a respectful relaxed tolerant and gentle manner. Mckayla is comfortable in the presence of cats dogs and children and will walk away when she feels tired of interacting with them. Mckayla is litter trained and an indoor cat. Mckayla has a medium activity level and is described as confident mellow friendly assertive aloof affectionate quiet and independent. Mckayla is not bothered when her is brushed she is picked up and held or disturbed when she is sleeping. Mckayla will struggle slightly when her nails are being trimmed or she is being given a bath. Mckayla uses clumping litter in an open litter box. Mckayla likes to play with strings balls and will engage in chasing games. Mckayla does not use scratching posts but will scratch furniture or cardboard. Mckayla is relaxed when traveling in cars. Mckayla will follow her owner around the house and sit in their lap as well as stay in the same room with them. Mckayla will sleep wherever she wants to sleep in the bedroom. Mckayla eats dry food twice a day and will snack on meat flavored treats. Mckayla was calm and quiet throughout the Intake process. Mckayla did not show any reactive behavior and was handled easily. Mckayla was aloof but did show that she was paying attention during the Intake process.

She rubs her cheeks vigorously on various objects inside her cage to solicit more attention when the assessor stops petting her, but remains completely still when the assessor starts to pet her again.
