07/11/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Kendal was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless. I was able to pet her and interact with her. I was also able to pick her up and although she was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: playing around in cage When spoken quietly: becomes nervous, stays at back of cage Reaction to door cage opening: remains motionless Reaction to touch: allows petting, nervous, Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling but tense. Placements Determination: Experience
