Lovely LUNA, a snow-white beauty, just 4 years of age, finds herself slung into the ACC’s Death Camp for Kitties due to PERSONAL PROBLEMS. During intake, Luna was a “GOOD SWEET GIRL” who allowed all handling. During her behavior test, Luna HEADBUTTED her way to a very good EXPNOCHILD behavior rating. And Luna has perfect litter box and scratching post manners! But the ACC will KILL this sweet beauty at noon tomorrow, despite the fact that poor Luna is PERFECTLY HEALTHY! 07/05/15 13:25 BASIC INFORMATION Luna is a 4 yr old cat that was inherited after her original owner passed away. Client has owned Luna for a little over a year. Client has to leave the country tomorrow on an emergency and does not know when she will be returning. FOR A NEW FAMILY TO KNOW Client has worked very long hours and has not spent much time with Luna. Client stated that Luna has never been around children or dogs. Luna has lived with another adult cat and they are said to co-exsist perfectly. Luna has had a habit in the past of scratching furniture but she was given a horizontal cardboard scratching post, the bad behavior stopped. Luna is successfully litter box trained. She is used to using a hooded litter box with clumping litter. Luna enjoys eating only dry food Meow Mix brand. BEhAvIOR UPON INTakE Luna was very alert and observant during intake. She allowed to be picked up, rubbed, and collared by an admissions counselor. Luna scanned positive for a microchip.

Owner Profile: Luna was bought into the care center by her previous owner due to moving to another country. Luna has never been around children or dogs so her behavior towards them remain unknown. Luna has lived with another adult cat and they were said to co-exsist perfectly. Luna had a habit in the past of scratching furniture but she was given a horizontal cardboard scratching post and she stopped. Luna is successfully litter box trained. Notes: Luna at the time of the assessment was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor and solicits attention. When petting Luna she head butts and becomes over stimulated. She will bite with some pressure but will start head butting again. Luna is displaying behavior appropriate for a experienced cat owner with no children. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but looks at you, is calm, relaxed, chirps When spoken quietly: comes to the front of cage, soliciting attention Reaction to door cage opening: remains soft and relaxed, chips Reaction to touch: solicits petting and attention, becomes overstimulated bites Try picking cat up: not tolerant of this type of handling Placement Determination: Experience no child
