Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: JR looks tense in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: JR remains hiding in his cat den, alert with pupils fully dilated. Reaction to touch: JR sniffs the assessor’s hand, but began to hiss, yowl, and lip lick in place. Placement determination: NH ONLY JR is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room. He is extremely fearful in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting.
