Johnnycake PURRED, HEADBUTTED, and KNEADED his way up to a rare-but-perfect BEGINNER behavior rating, but this charming kitten will DIE at noon tomorrow, an INNOCENT VICTIM of the notorious ACC kitty cold and a badly broken shelter system! 07/26/15 13:38 Basic information Johnnycake was found in the finders mothers building on the Grand concourse in the bronx. She saw him last night 7/25/2015 and when she left her mothers house today, he was still there. She said that he is friendly and allowed to be picked up and put into a carrier. Behavior during intake Johnnycake was friendly and allowed all handling-scanning(-), collaring, and photographs although he kept trying to jump off the table. He was very curious of his surroundings and wanted to run around. He had a loose body and allowed to be pet.

Reaction to cage door opening: Johnny Cake comes to the front and remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Johnny Cake head-butts, begins to purr, and starts to knead. Reaction to being picked up: Johnny Cake remains soft and nuzzles into the assessor’s arms. Behavior Determination: Beginner Johnny Cake interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
