As per the previous owner, Johnny has lived with children, adults, seniors, and other cats for less than 6 months. They say he is very friendly and he was easy to handle upon intake and during his initial medical exam. Reaction to assessor: Johnny remains calm, relaxed, and friendly upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Johnny looks at the assessor with relaxed eyes. Reaction to cage door opening: Johnny remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Johnny was a little hesitant, but remains in place for petting and leans on the assessor’s hand. He starts to lightly head-butt afterwards. Reaction to being picked up: Johnny becomes tense during pick up, but remains calm when held. Behavior Determination: Average Johnny interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
