Adorable three-year-old brown tabby and white laddie JACKSON has the most LUXURIOUS whiskers! This dapper darling was tossed into the kill-happy ACC as a supposed “STRAY”, where he quickly caught the eye of both an ACC staffer AND an ACC volunteer, who write: “Jackson came to us off the streets of the BIG APPLE looking for someone to take him away and make him their beloved pet. At 3 years old, Jackson has a lot of love left to give to his new loving family. Just about any family would be lucky to have this boy in their home for plenty of cuddles and cat naps. He is quite vocal in his cat condo, so he is sure to let you know if he needs your immediate attention for a good head scratch. Friendly, outgoing and willing to make just about anyone his friend, this handsome young guy is available at our Manhattan shelter, so come on down and give this guy a look!” The volunteer writes: “Sitting quietly and looking a little sad in his kennel, I decided to go say hello to Jackson. He was a little shy, for a couple of seconds, but almost immediately came out of his shell. He is friendly and playful, very playful! This handsome gentleman would be a great addition to many families, whether just you or the whole crew. Come meet your new buddy at our Manhattan shelter today!” But Jackson will DIE at noon tomorrow just because he SNEEZED, despite his AVERAGE behavior rating! Reaction to touch: Jackson stands with tail up, chirps in place and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to Being Picked up: He calmly jumps back into his cage when approached by the assessor. Placement determination: Average Jackson interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting.
