I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 05/22/2015 from NY 11101, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

05/24/2015 Exam Type CAGE EXAM – Medical Rating is 3 C – MAJOR CONDITIONS , Behavior Rating is NONE, Weight 4.6 LBS.
05/25/15 09:32 Aggressive, unable to examine, no signs of ocular or nasal discharge A Improving URI P Admin Convenia today, move to ISO ______ S Fearful, avoids people/ will flee Will only act out if cornered/pressed Given doxy in food today, but consumed resentfully/slowly ACO not able to touch cat and medicate PO O Eating well, resting quietly nasal and ocular discharge A appearence of URI, older kitten / young adult, not socialized to people P Avoid staff injury and ensure continous antibiotic treatment– give convenia sq today when cat handled for fluids. Give Clavamox po in food for 10 days as well. Continue to observe. Ok to move to iso from medical when clinical improvement seen.

Reaction to assessor: Jackie looks tense in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Jackie remains crouched down on her cage bedding, immobile in place. Reaction to touch: Jackie does not allow the stroke, growls and swats at the assessor’s hand. Placement determination: NH ONLY Jackie is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room. She is stressed in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
