HILDA – A1037996
6-14-2015 Manhattan
**GONE 06/14/15** EXPERIENCE-rated HILDA is a neutered 3-year-old BOY who was someone’s lost pet when his most recent owner found him, a month ago. This dreamy orange guy likes to nibble those he loves, which his finder took exception to. She went so far as to point out those love bites to the ACC staff member, who couldn’t even see them! Just goes to show, people will jump on any excuse when they decide to part ways with even a perfectly nice fellow like HILDA. This is a fun cat who should give his new owners many years of love and enjoyment, provided a foster/adopter saves his life tonight.

05/29/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
05/29/15 20:55 BASIC INFO Hilda’s owner found him 1 month ago and surrendered him because he scratches people and furniture. SOCIALIZATION Hilda lived with adults. Her owners report that he approaches and swats/scratches them when they approach and try to touch him, sometimes breaking skin. He bit and scratched one of his owners when she put him in a carrier. She claimed that she bled and pointed out her scratches, but I couldn’t see them. She said he bites her toes and hair in her sleep, lightly, without breaking skin. When dogs visit, Hilda goes to a high place and stares at them. FOR A NEW FAMILY TO KNOW Hilda’s family describes him as high energy and independent. He spends most of his time alone in comfortable spots. He lived inside and always uses his litterbox. He scratches leather chairs and walls in addition to his horizontal cardboard scratcher. INTAKE Hilda went into his kennel on his own and had a soft body and allowed us to scan him (negative). When we reached towards him to pet him, he hissed, so we didn’t handle him further.
