09/28/15 17:24 Basic Information Ginseng was abandoned in the lobby of MACC, no information is known on Ginseng. Behavior during Intake Ginseng was relaxed during intake. He allowed staff to stroke his fur immediately, and take him out of the bag he was left in. Ginseng accepted food and allowed all handling, and showed no signs of aggression during intake.

Ginseng was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. She was relaxed upon intake and solicited attention from the staff. She was easy to handle during her initial medical exam although she was tense and nervous. Reaction to assessor: Ginseng comes to the front and is calm, relaxed, and friendly. Reaction when softly spoken to: Ginseng leans her head onto the cage door. Reaction to cage door opening: Ginseng remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Ginseng head-butts, leans on the assessor, and begins to purr. Reaction to being picked up: Ginseng remains soft and allows handling. Behavior Determination: Beginner Ginseng interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
