FRANCIS – A1041856
Manhattan
***GONE 07/03/15*** FRANCIS NEEDS YOUR HELP TONIGHT TO LIVE SO SHE CAN GET SOME MEDICAL HELP FOR A MAMMARY TUMOR ON HER SIDE – CAN YOU HELP THIS 6 YEAR OLD GIRL ESCAPE WHAT THE ACC HAS PLANNED FOR HER TOMORROW? FRANCIS certainly is a good name for someone who needs a saint to pull her from the ACC tonight. FRANCIS has a mammary tumor, but this can be treated if she can see the vet asap for a full evaluation. FRANCIS came in as a stray so nothing is known of her background but she allowed handling although afraid and got an EXPNOCHID rating. The ACC medical dept staff are not rocket scientists, so this poor kitty needs a COMPETENT VET to examine her and determine her treatment. DON’T LET FRANCIS BECOME ANOTHER STATISTIC TO BE TALLIED ON THE MONTHLY COUNT OF THE DEAD – PLEASE GRANT HER A DEATH ROW PARDON AND A CHANCE TO LIVE TONIGHT! FOSTERING OR ADOPTING WILL SAVE HER LIFE!!

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Francis neutral in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Francis remains lying down on her cage bedding, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Francis accepts the stroke, but during the touch ears go down to her side and hiss at the assessor’s hand. Placement determination: Experience / no child Francis tolerates attention and petting but may be stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
