Sadly, this sweet older kitten caught the ACC kitty cold, which they “CURE” via lethal injection. Flounder will die at noon tomorrow, but YOU can prevent his date with death! At the time of the assessment he was displaying friendly but shy behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Flounder is displaying behavior appropriate for a beginner cat owner. Reaction to assessor: comes to the front of the cage, soliciting, meowing When spoken quietly: stays at front, continues soliciting attention Reaction to door cage opening: retreats Reaction to touch: allows petting, head butts Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling.
