I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 05/08/2015 from NY 11219, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

S/O: On AM rounds, patient was noted to have a loud, non-productive cough. Also noted sneeze stains on cage door. BAR otherwise Eating well No v/d No nasal/ocular discharge Tolerable of handling. A: URI Px: Good P: Move to isolation, start course of doxy 0.57 mL PO SID x 10 days. Recheck on day 7.

Notes: Cheerios was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to was seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying good behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Cheerios is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but looks at you, calm, relaxed and friendly (1) When spoken quietly: does not come to front but looks at you, calm, relaxed and friendly (1) Reaction to door cage opening: remains soft and relaxed (1) Reaction to touch: allows petting and attention (1) Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling.
