Medical Summary scanned negative neutered young male est 1-2 years old s/o: emaciated 1/9 bcs rrl hanging limp–suspect distal femoral fx left eye pthitic pale gums jaws click when eating retero test negative. ravenous appetite appears mostly blind. PLR intact, +/- dzzle but seems unaware of presence of food except by smell and touch. can track movement a: fracture limited vision emaciated P: theory: poor vision could be cause of emaciation(?) otherwise serious underlying disease is present. If patient gains weight rapidly, unerlying dz unlikely gave 80cc sqf fed 1/2 can m/d FVRCP vx 0.2ml buprenorhine inital prognosis fair. if he does not rapidly gain weight prognosis becomes guarded.
