CALI – A1053255
Safe 10-8-2015 Brooklyn Rescue: All Sentient Beings Please honor your pledges: http://animalloversnetwork.org/
**SAFE 10/08/15** EAR-TIPPED BEAUTY WITH A NEW HOPE RATING! Meet CALI, a young lady who was brought into the shelter as a stray, despite the fact that she had been minding her own business. This beautiful pastel-shaded kitty wants nothing to do with the ACC, and who can blame her? The ear tip suggests that she was part of a maintained feral colony, but that’s not to say she may not settle down in a home setting, and learn to love life as a pampered pet. The sky is the limit when it comes to CALI’s future, but that ONLY happens if someone works with a NEW HOPE rescue group to foster or adopt her, tonight!

10/05/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to Assessor: Cali was resting in her cage upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Cali is too sleepy and does not respond. Reaction to cage door opening: Cali wakes and retreats to the back. Reaction to touch: Cali was hesitant of touch as the assessor approaches her slowly, but she nips gently three times. When attempting to pet her again, she hisses and nips again. Placement Determination: New Hope Only Cali is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and/or may require further investigation before placement in a home. She has tried to bite, is extremely fearful in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
