10/19/15 14:55 Profile wasn’t left due to cat being stray. Behavior During Intake: Aston Martin was brought into the facility in a mini dog crate provided by the finder. Upon arrival Aston Martin was meowing and remained still while in the crate. At first he was allowed me to scan him and even pet him. After the finders left I made a second attempt to pet him and he growled, hissed, and then attempted to flee the crate.

Aston Martin came to the shelter as a stray, so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies in a home environment. Upon intake, Aston Martin growled, hissed and attempted to flee the crate. Reaction to assessor: Aston Martin is hiding in his den. Reaction when softly spoken to: Aston Martin continues to hide, looks alert through den. Reaction to cage door opening: Aston Martin begins to hiss continually. Reaction to touch: Aston Martin growls and hisses louder as the assessor approaches, does not allow petting. Placement Determination: New Hope Only Aston Martin hides from the assessor, and shows fractious behavior when handling is attempted. He is exhibiting behavior suited to rescue partners.
