I am a female black and white domestic sh mix. The shelter thinks I am about 1 YEAR 1 MONTH old.
I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 10/19/2015 from NY 10451, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

10/19/15 14:51 Basic information: Mileva was brought in as a stray. The finder found her on the street, the finder placed Mileva in a cat carrier and brought her to the shelter. No other information could be provided during intake. Intake Behavior: During intake Mileva was relaxed with soft body. Mileva allowed to be scanned (negative), collared, pictured and placed in a cat kennel.

10/22/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – BEGINNER
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Mileva was found as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. The finder was able to place her into a cat carrier and bring her to the care center without any incident. She had a soft and relaxed body during intake, and was easy to handle during her initial medical exam. Reaction to assessor: Mileva was calm, relaxed, and friendly by the front. Reaction when softly spoken to: Mileva head-butts the cage door to solicit attention. Reaction to cage door opening: Mileva remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Mileva remains in place for petting, begins to purr, and leans on the assessor’s hand. Reaction to being picked up: Mileva remains calm and allows handling. Behavior Determination: Beginner Mileva interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
