ARIEL – A1042290
7-14-2015 Brooklyn
***GONE 07/14/15*** PERFECTLY HEALTHY “VERY FRIENDLY” KITTEN HAS A GREAT BEHAVIOR RATING, BUT THE ACC WILL KILL HER ANYWAY – PLEASE GRANT ARIEL A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! Gorgeous gray tabby kitten ARIEL, just 10 months of age, finds herself slung into the ACC’s Death Camp for Kitties as a “STRAY” girl, but this little love entered the shelter with perfectly CLEAN FUR, FREE of fleas and ear mites, so it’s obvious she’s a lost or abandoned pet kitten. During intake, Ariel was a “VERY FRIENDLY” gal who allowed all handling; she earned a very good EXPNOCHILD behavior rating for the way she trustingly allowed petting. But the ACC will KILL this sweet friendly kitten at noon tomorrow, despite the fact that poor Ariel is PERFECTLY HEALTHY! Please don’t let them silence her purrs forever. Start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt adorable ARIEL! If you can’t save ARIEL yourself, please SHARE her sad story and PLEDGE for her rescue!

07/09/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Ariel was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer. I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way. Although she was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents with no children. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: remains motionless Reaction to touch: allows limited petting, leans into hand while petting Try picking cat up: not tolerant of this type of handling, fearful Placement Determination: Experience no child
