***SAFE 05/13/15*** STUNNING OLDER BEAUTY IS PERFECTLY HEALTHY, BUT THE ACC WILL KILL HER ANYWAY – PLEASE GRANT SINDEL A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! Exquisitely beautiful SINDEL, a seven-year-old brown tabby stunner, looks like she has some MAINE COON in her breeding! This lovely girl was dumped into the kill-happy ACC for supposedly ATTACKING PEOPLE, but we all know that cats DO NOT attack FOR NO REASON. Was Sindel mistreated or provoked? Sindel has MUCH to recommend her, as she’s ALREADY SPAYED, has perfect litter box and scratching post manners, and she loves to “play with balls, wand toys, and catnip toys”. Sindel ALLOWED ALL HANDLING during intake, but now she realizes she’s been utterly betrayed, so her FEAR has taken over. She reacted defensively during her behavior test, so the ACC WROTE HER OFF as a New Hope Only behavior problem, to be “CURED” with a lethal injection at noon tomorrow, despite the fact that poor Sindel is PERFECTLY HEALTHY! Please see beyond her fear; look into her heart and see the scared, sweet cat hiding within, and give her another chance at a loving forever home. Start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt scared older beauty SINDEL from the approved New Hope rescue groups! If you can’t save SINDEL yourself, please SHARE her sad story and PLEDGE for her rescue!

Social Life and Personality: She has not been around children or cats so her behaviors are unknown. She lived with 2 other cats and was fearful of them, trying to hide or escape from them but if she felt cornered or the cat continued to interact she would hiss and swat at them. She is litter box trained and kept indoors only. Behaviors: She does have a history of biting and scratching with the most recent incident occurring on 4/30/15 which did draw blood. He has been bathed before and when using warm water she is not bothered and she enjoys being brushed. Owner did not try to clip the cat’s nails because of the cat’s history with scratching and when she was placed into a carrier she was afraid and tried to flee but did not bite or scratch. New Family Info: She is sued to clumping litter inside a hooded box. She will play with balls, wand toys, and catnip toys. She uses both a vertical and horizontal scratching post made out of cardboard. She was fed both wet and dry food. Intake Behavior: During intake Sindel allowed to be scanned (negative) without aggression. As the intake progressed she began to hiss and growl at admission counselor and owner whenever they would approach the carrier. She was unable to be collared, or pictured due to aggression.
