LADY BUG certainly has not had good luck with her owner…..Eleven years young and SPAYED and DECLAWED, LADY BUG started having litter box issues which sometimes happen as we all hit middle age…but instead of bringing her to a vet the owner brought her here even though she guessed it might be a medical problem…..LADY BUG lived with a three year old and a dog and was fine with them. Add that to her quiet beauty and you have a winning recipe for a new companion!! LADY BUG needs some competent vet care but every cat should have that!! 09/21/15 17:14 Basic Information: Lady Bug “Lady” is a declawed, altered 11 year old domestic medium hair. The owner received Lady as a kitten from her previous owner. Lady has not been to the vet. She has no injuries but has started have litter box issues. Social Life and Personality: Lady has lived with a 3 year old child. She is relaxed around him but does not play with him. She had a visiting cat come into her home and she hissed at him. She has lived with a dog and was relaxed and respectful of the dog. She has been kept indoors and has a low/medium activity level. Behavior: Lady is afraid of baths but will sit throw them. She enjoys being brushed, picked up, and held. She is not bothered when placed in a carrier or when disturbed when woken up. Litter Box Issues: Lady started urinating outside the litter box a few weeks ago. She has not seen the vet about this issue. The owner says that Lady has been urinating on clothes, couches, and towels. The owner believes that it could be a medical issue. For a New family to Know: Lady is used to clumping litter inside a hooded litter box. She likes to play with toy mice and balls. She is declawed so she does not scratch on anything. When people are home she likes to follow them around. She is gentle during play. She has never been in a car ride. She is used to being free fed Iams dry cat food. She likes to sleep in bed with her owner. Intake Behavior: Lady Bug sat in the back of the carrier with dilated eyes. She had a tense body but allowed to be picked up and placed on the counter for photos. She also allowed scanning and collaring. She did not hiss, swat, or growl.
