He has not been exposed to other cats, but the owner reports he is fearful of dogs. Kit is exuberant when playing with children and can be over highly aroused. He was described as an energetic cat that is assertive and friendly. Reaction to Assessor: Kit was calm, relaxed, and friendly by the front. Reaction when softly spoken to: Kit meows softly. Reaction to cage door opening: Kit remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Kit was hesitant and shifts away from the assessor’s hand and focuses on it. He allows petting when approached slowly, but would whine and lift his paw up to swipe gently. He seems wary of the assessor’s hand and shifts away to prevent additional contact.
