FREDDY has an Experience rating at the ACC because he is wondering what the hell happened and why his home and his cat friends are not with him….WHO CAN HELP FAB FREDDY FIND THAT PURRFECT FOREVER HOME TONIGHT?? 12/11/15 15:20 Basic Information: Freddy is a year and a half old unaltered male domestic shorthair. He was given as a gift. Owner surrenders Freddy due to living situation. Social Life and Personality: Freddy lived with two adults and children ages 2 and 4 years old. Owner stated Freddy is relaxed and affectionate towards the children. Freddy lived with two other cats Mia A1060244 who is his sister and Shorty A1060246 who is his son. Freddy is relaxed and affectionate towards the cats in the household. Her behavior is unknown towards dogs. Freddy is indoors only and activity level is to a medium. Owner describes Freddy as friendly and quiet. Behavior: Freddy never bitten or scratched anyone to owner knowledge. Freddy tends to scratch on the wall and doesn’t have a scratching post. Freddy was given a bath once when He was a kitten but never had nails trim. Freddy enjoys being picked up and held. For a New Family to Know: Freddy is litter box trained. He likes to play with balls and strings. Freddy will follow owner around the house and eat dry food called Meow Mix. Freddy likes to sleep in diner room chairs. Intake Behavior: Upon intake Freddy nervous and tense. He scanned negative for a microchip but allowed all handling when approached slowly. At first he came in carrier with Mia A1060244 but was switch to carrier with Shorty A1060246 he begin to hiss and swat at Shorty. Separated immediately.

Freddy’s previous owner states that he has lived with two adults and two children. He is relaxed and affectionate towards children. He has lived with two other cats and is relaxed and affectionate towards them too. He was kept indoors and has a medium activity level. Freddy was described as friendly and quiet and he enjoys being picked up and held. Reaction to Assessor: Freddy was calm and relaxed upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Freddy meows softly and blinks slowly. Reaction to cage door opening: Freddy remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Freddy was hesitant and meows loudly as the assessor extends her hand towards him. His tail starts to flicker back and forth, but he allows petting and relaxes a little. When attempting to pet him again, he meows loudly again and begins to grumble. Reaction to being picked up: Freddy whines and shifts away from the assessor’s arms. Placement Determination: Experience Freddy tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter. He may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
