11/17/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Funny Cake was hiding when I approach cage When spoken quietly: Funny Cake continues to hide Reaction to door cage opening: Funny Cake becomes stiff, alert Reaction to touch: Funny Cake does not allows petting at all and tries to flee Try picking cat up: did not attempt to pick up Funny Cake due to fractious behavior. Behavior Determination: NewHope Funny Cake seems to not be thriving in this environment and at the time of the assessment he was displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room. Funny Cake may require further investigation before placement in a home. Funny Cake is extremely fearful and currently does not tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
