CLAUDIA – A1049609
Gone 9-2-2015 Manhattan
**GONE 09/02/15** CHILLING WORDS ON THE MEDICAL NOTES OF THIS SENIOR LADY’S BIOGRAPHY: “maggots seen in foot wound manually removed several large maggots partially shaved matts to remove fly eggs–impossible to remove all of them….” It’s no wonder sweet CLAUDIA needs a rescue to pull her to safety, because this EXCEPTIONAL girl has some health issues and will need the safety net a rescue can provide. Do YOU have a spare room with a door? A bathroom, perhaps? A large crate? ALL SHE NEEDS IS A FOSTER to save her life—this is a GREAT cat. A rescue will pay the vet bill if YOU can nurse Claudia back to health. Don’t let her die a painful death at the hands of the ACC. Work with a New Hope rescue to save CLAUDIA, tonight!

09/01/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Claudia looks neutral in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Claudia remains crouched down on her cage bedding, immobile in place. Reaction to touch: Claudia accepts the stroke on the head, but along the body she began to hiss and attempt to nip. Placement determination: Experience / no child Claudia tolerates attention and petting but may be stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
