07/28/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
07/28/15 18:33 Ziti’s finder had been feeding him and other outdoor cats in her neighborhood. She describes him as relaxed and aloof and has noticed him becoming thin. Her family found him on their doorstep today. Ziti’s finder stated that he hissed and struggled a little as she put him into a carrier but didn’t try to bite/scratch. Ziti hissed and growled, retreated in his carrier, while we scanned him (-). He walked into the back of his kennel. I took his picture in his kennel.

08/01/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Ziti immediately comes soliciting at the front of the cage. Reaction to door opening: Ziti remains at the front of the cage, soft and relaxed, soliciting attention. Reaction to touch: Ziti head-butts the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and body. However, after a few stroke he moderately nips randomly at the hand, but continues to solicit more attention. Placement determination: Experience / no child Ziti tolerates attention and petting but may be stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
