ZIP – A1038763
6-16-2015 Brooklyn
**SAFE 06/16/15** ZIP is a neutered 6-year-old boy who was abandoned with 7 of his BFFs and brought into the ACC on June 4th. He looks to be a charming boy, mellow and uncomplicated, and he earned an AVERAGE rating to prove it! He is the first of his group to be slapped on the euth list on account of the ACC cold. This really nice guy needs a round of antibiotics and some TLC, and he will repay his hero (or heroine) with a lifetime of unconditional love. Where is everyone for ZIP? Noon will be here before you know it, so please share ZIP everywhere you can think of, right now.

06/10/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Zip came to us as a stray on 6/4/15. So, we do not have any behavioral information prior to what we have seen in the shelter environment. Upon intake it was reported that Zip was nervous and tense but allowed all handling. He could be seen with relaxed and soft body language in the kennel, and allowed the assessor the pet him softly. Zip continued to solicit attention from the assessor with head rubs, and slight purrs, but was not comfortable when being picked up. The behavior department believes that Zip can go to an average home. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but looks at you – is calm, relaxed and friendly When spoken to quietly: comes to front of cage – soliciting, rubbing against cage front, reaching out with paws Reaction to cage door opening: remains soft and relaxed Reaction to touch: solicits petting and attention – rubs, chirps, meows Reaction to being picked up: Allows to be picked up, becomes quickly uncomfortable
