ZIGGY – A1038756
6-15-2015 Brooklyn
***GONE 06/15/15*** SWEET SHY YOUNG TABBY BOY, ABANDONED BY OWNER, HAS A GREAT BEHAVIOR RATING, BUT WILL DIE BECAUSE HE SNEEZED – PLEASE GRANT ZIGGY A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! Handsome, shy guy ZIGGY, a three-year-old black tabby and brown boy, finds himself stuffed into the ACC’s Death Camp for Kitties after his former owner ABANDONED Ziggy in his old home. Sadly, Ziggy is in the WORST possible place for finding a loving forever home – a high-kill shelter. This darling, dapper boy is ALREADY NEUTERED! Ziggy is shy and overwhelmed in the scary shelter environment, but he STILL earned a very good EXPERIENCE behavior rating for the way he allowed petting and even let the ACC assessor PICK HIM UP! But this poor betrayed lad will DIE at noon tomorrow, an INNOCENT VICTIM of the notorious ACC kitty cold and a badly broken shelter system. Please give Ziggy the happily-ever-after ending which he so richly deserves! Start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt sweet, shy tabby boy ZIGGY! If you can’t save ZIGGY yourself, please SHARE his sad story and PLEDGE for his rescue!

06/10/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Ziggy came to us as a stray on 6/4/15. It was reported upon intake that Ziggy was tense and nervous, but allowed all handling. He could be seen in the kennel hiding when approached, with slightly fearful body language. He allows the assessor to touch him softly, but does have slightly fearful body language. In addition, Ziggy allows to be picked up but becomes quickly uncomfortable with flat ears and dilated eyes, but shows no aggression. The behavior department believes that Ziggy can go to an experienced home that will Ziggy interact at his own pace and acclimate to his new home. Reaction to assessor: continues to hide (was hiding when you approached cage) When spoken to quietly: continues to hide Reaction to cage door opening: remains motionless or does not respond Reaction to touch: seems indifferent to your presence and touch, flat ears with dilated eyes Reaction to being picked up: Allows to be picked up, becomes quickly uncomfortable
