***GONE 05/31/15*** MOMMY TO BE ZATANNA IS A PRETTY CAT WHO WAS SPARED A SPAY ABORT BUT NOT DEATH ROW!!! ZATANNA is a 6 year old momma cat who was found in a hallway of a building. You would think someone would assume she was a pet that got loose and try and find the owner. Sadly, ZATANNA was dumped in the kill happy shelter and to boot – she is PREGNANT. Anyone knows the ACC is no place for a pregnant momma cat as they will either spay abort or kill. With ZATANNA they chose to end her life and the lives of the unborn. ZATANNA is only afraid and needs a nice calm place to relax and have her kittens. CAN YOU FOSTER THIS GIRL? FOSTERING WILL SAVE HER LIFE AND THE RESCUE HELPS BY PAYING VET COST AND FINDING HOMES FOR THE KITTENS CONTACT A RESCUE NOW TO GET THIS PRETTY KITTY OUT OF HARM’S WAY.

05/18/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
05/18/15 11:30 Zitanna wandered into her finder’s apt from the hallway of his building. Zatanna has a large abdomen with loose skin. She appeared hungry and ate a lot of dry and wet food quickly upon arrival. She walked into her kennel and sat/stood at the front with a soft body while I pet, scanned (negative), and photographed her. She ate wet food while I tried to collar her. Every time I slipped the collar under her neck, she backed out and put her head under it, continuing to eat, so I was unable to collar her. She didn’t resist, retreat, or vocalize. Another staff member collared her quickly and she growled and hissed.

05/21/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Zatanna looks neutral in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Zatanna remains crouched down on her cage bedding, alert with soft eyes. Reaction to touch: Zatanna accepts the stroke, but began to meow whine during the touch then low growls at the assessor’s hand. Placement determination: Experience / no child Zatanna tolerates attention and petting but may be stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
