XOTIC – A1040116
6-21-2015 Brooklyn Rescue: Anjellicle Cats Rescue Please honor your pledges: http://bit.ly/XoticA1040116
***SAFE 06/21/2015*** XOTIC is a scared but gentle boy who came to the ACC when his former person decided he had ‘personal problems’ and ‘too many pets’. This is very unfortunate, as many cats brought in at the same time often results in cats windingup being killed….and now XOTIC and one of his friends, CYNTHIA, are on the at risk list tonight. Neither has committed a crime except be callously turned in to a place where they are just ‘one more black or black and white cat’ and black and black and white cats are those least likely to make it out of ACC alive. XOTIC is just that, a sweet and gentle timid little boycat who’s neutered and showed no aggression during assessment, just shyness. A little patience, kindness and quiet go a long way to making this little oriental looking cat at home-please get him out of there and let him come to realize there are people who will love him. SAVE XOTIC NOW!!!!

06/19/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Xotic was bought into the care center due to his previous owner having to many pets. Xotic At the time of the assessment was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer. I was able to pet him and interact with him. I was also able to pick Xotic up and although he was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: remains motionless Reaction to touch: seems indifferent to my presence and touch Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling but tense. Placement Determination: Experience
