WOW – A1044882
I am an unaltered female, gray Domestic Shorthair mix.
The shelter staff think I am about 11 weeks old.
I weigh 2 pounds.
I was found in NY 11212.
I have been at the shelter since Jul 21, 2015.
Notes: Wow was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Retreats as I started to get closer but after a steady slow approach using soft voices she relaxed a little and I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way. I was also able to pick her up and although she was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
Reaction to assessor: does not come to front, looks at me with wide eyes
When spoken quietly: does not come to front, looks at me with wide eyes
Reaction to door cage opening: retreats
Reaction to touch: seems indifferent to my presence and touch
Try picking cat up: Wow allows handling but her body remains tense
