I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 06/09/2015 from NY 11216, owner surrender reason stated was ABANDON.

At the time of the assessment she was displaying a slightly fearful behavior, comes to the front , allows attention,allows handling and tolerates all petting. Wookie is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: comes to the front of the cage When spoken quietly: stays at front, continues soliciting attention Reaction to door cage opening: remains soft & relaxed Reaction to touch: solicits allows petting Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling.
