Reaction to assessor: Wisin was resting inside his cage upon approach. When softly spoken to, he looks at the assessor with relaxed eyes. He is calm, relaxed, and friendly. Reaction to cage door opening: Wisin remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Wisin remains in place for petting, begins to purr, and lightly leans his head against the assessor’s hand. Reaction to toy or novel object: Wisin shows no interest in playing. Reaction to being picked up: Wisin remains calm and allows handling. As per previous owner, Wisin has lived with 2 adults and 2 children for his whole life. He has never lived with any animals, but was reported to have play dates with a one month old puppy and another cat. They said he loves to play, enjoys petting, uses a scratch post, loves to cuddle and be picked up, and is social. Behavior Determination: Average Wisin interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. There is no known history of behavioral problems. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
